Orlando Cepeda was a Puerto Rican first baseman in Major League Baseball who played for six teams from 1958 to 1974, including 2 years as a St. Louis Cardinal. An 11-time All-Star, Cepeda was one of the most consistent power hitters in the National League through the 1960s and was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1999.

Ted Simmons is a former American professional baseball player and coach. A switch-hitter, Simmons was a catcher for most of his Major League Baseball career with the St. Louis Cardinals (1968–1980), the Milwaukee Brewers (1981–1985) and the Atlanta Braves (1986–1988). Although he was often overshadowed by his contemporary, Johnny Bench, Simmons is considered one of the best-hitting catchers in MLB history and was induction into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2020.

Scott Rolen is a former American professional baseball third baseman. A seven-time All-Star, Rolen started his career with the Phillies, where he was named the 1997 National League Rookie of the Year. He played 17 seasons in Major League Baseball with the Philadelphia Phillies (1996 - 2002), St. Louis Cardinals (2002–2007), Toronto Blue Jays (2008–2009), and Cincinnati Reds (2009–2012). Scott Rolen was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2023.
